Nigeria’s Got Talent – Bridging The Gap

Since debuting on September 16, 2012, Nigeria’s Got Talent immediately rose to being a must watch amongst reality TV viewers living in Nigeria and in the UK. Yes, it is true that the franchise show is not only singing oriented- it also attracts people with different skills like acrobats, dance, magic, comedy and stunts… but the impact Nigeria’s Got Talent has on viewers can be classified as revolutionary.

And as the show gradually unravels, producers have so far kept their initial promise to bring excitement and entertainment to homes of Nigerian audience “We have put a lot in place to make sure that viewers have fun watching this show, and from the feedback we get through tweets and emails, we know that we have succeeded on what we embarked on doing” Adaora Mbelu Project Manager of Nigeria’s Got Talent says
True to her words, in the past three weeks, we have laughed at some, sympathized with some, and
applauded some, “But this is just the beginning” Adaora tells us :Get ready for nine more weeks of fun, laughter, tears and unbelievable twists”

The journey to discovering the first winner of the Got Talent series has so far taken a twist we all didn’t envisage. Host Andre Blaze has taken viewers through the highs and lows of the audition phase, while judges Kate Henshaw, Yibo Koko and Dan Foster have proved to be authorities in their own rights, reviewing performances.

Stella Damasus To Inspire Young Girls On Premarital Sex And How To Resist Men

ADIVA hosted by STELLA DAMASUS

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you ADIVA. This is the initiative of Nigerian movie icon STELLA DAMASUS. ADIVA is a mentorship program that helps women and young girls unlock their potentials using God’s word and principles, thus becoming the best they can ever be.

Stella Damasus is a household name in the African entertainment industry but beyond that, she is an accomplished teacher, singer, philanthropist, woman rights activist, mother and an intense lover of God.

Having worked with several organisations around the world in the fight against domestic violence, child enslavement, prostitution and campaign for female empowerment, Stella Damasus has seen the need to re-orientate and mentor young women. Having gone through personal struggles herself and still attained the height of international stardom, her mission is to make sure the average Nigerian woman can attain her full potential.

This is why she has organized the first ADIVA session in Abuja tagged REAL TALK. She intends to teach young ladies the need to run from every temptation of running after men and money, the dangers of pre-marital sex and how to value their bodies as the temple of God. These are issues that some parents are too afraid to discuss with their daughters.

So join us, let’s hang out and talk about God, Men, Sex, Money and everything else.

This event is strictly for women and young ladies ONLY. No men are allowed. You must be 15 years old and above to attend. Admission is free.
